Band Honors
12 North Harrison musicians qualified to perform at the 2023 MSHSAA State Solo/Ensemble Festival. Students performed at the District Festival on April 1st at Central HS in St. Joseph. In a day of very hard judging, the following students received "1" or "Exemplary" ratings and qualified for the State Festival on April 29th in Columbia, Mo.
Katie Briggs-Alto Sax solo, Rhealynn Estrada-Clarinet solo, Kendal Kimbrough-Tuba solo, Clarinet 6-Rhealynn Estrada, Lily Owens, Annabelle Owens, Addison Milligan, Ashlin Bomar, and Natalie Parkhurst, Woodwind Trio-Katelyn Briggs, Rhealynn Estrada and Trendi Johnson, Brass 4-Kyler Kimbrough, Andi Nail, Dillon Hartschen and Kendall Kimbrough.
The following students received "2" or "Outstanding" ratings:
