District Band Results
Launch the media gallery 1 playerNorth Harrison Band members had a great day last Saturday at the Northwest All-District band auditions. Sixteen of nineteen students auditioning received all district honors:
Honor Band(top band):
Dillon Hartschen-2nd chair trombone, Brayden Nail-6th chair trombone, Evan Schrieber-3rd chair euphonium, Kendall Kimbrough-6th chair tuba
Concert Band(2nd band):
Lela Hartschen-2nd chair oboe, Rhaelynn Estrada-1st chair clarinet(1st alternate to honor band), Annabelle Owens-12th chair clarinet, Lily Owens-2nd chair alto clarinet, Ashlin Bomar-2nd chair bass clarinet, Katie Briggs-2nd chair alto sax(2nd alternate to honor band), Aubrey Utley-3rd chair trombone, Kayak Wilson-4th chair trombone
Jr. High Band:
Rebecca Welling-2nd alternate bass clarinet, Jaxcynn Hansel-2nd alternate alto sax, Lani Briggs-2nd honorable mention trumpet, Lane Graham-5th chair trombone
Honor band members and alternates to the honor band will audition for the all state band on Saturday, December 3rd in Columbia.
Members of the all district band will be rehearsing and performing a concert on Saturday, December 10th at Platte County High School.
